AGAT Laboratories offers ultra-trace analysis of persistent organic pollutants (POP's) such as Dioxins and Furans, PCB's and PAH via High Resolution Gas Chromatography/High Resolution Mass Spectrometry. Many of these pollutants are persistent in the environment, and are of great concern because they are extremely resistant to degradation. Natural processes such as bio-accumulation, and bio-magnification can concentrate these compounds, increasing their threat to living organisms in the environment. For this reason, low level detection of these compounds is of the utmost importance.

AGAT Laboratories' Ultra-Trace, Toxicology and Specialty Analysis Division is accredited by CALA in Canada and  the Centre d'Expertise en Analyse Environnmentale du Quebec in Quebec.
